About Seward Volunteer Fire Dept.
Our History
Seward Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1922 and has been serving the community ever since. We have grown from a small team of volunteers to a well-equipped and trained department ready to respond to any emergency. We have a QRS service with currently 4 EMT's and 2 Paramedics. We are in the process of obtaining 2 more EMT's as they are in class and 1 more paramedic as she is in class.
Our members meet twice a month, train every Monday evening, with monthly maintenance of equipment and fire apparatus.
SOCIAL HALL/PAVILION RENTALS
Book your next event at our newly renovated social hall. Our social hall seats approximately 265 people comfortably. Kitchen available. Ample parking. Perfect for birthday parties, wedding receptions, family get togethers, funeral dinners, meetings, etc. In the summer months rent our outside pavilion that seats approximately 150 people.
